We offer Digital and Offset printing
Offset Printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. It is the best method for producing large volumes of high quality prints that require little maintenance. It is a cost effective method that produces consistent image quality in numerous quantities. Ideal for printing promotional materials, it is affordable, fast, and reliable.

Advantages of Offset Printing
  • Consistent high image quality
  • Produces sharp and clean images
  • Works on a wide range of printing surfaces (e.g., paper, leather and rough paper)
  • The unit cost goes down as the quantity goes up
  • Quality and cost-effectiveness in high volume jobs by undergoing low production costs due to the use of plates to transfer the design to a substrate. Since all pieces of an order will make use of the same plates for printing, the price per piece is much affordable.

Digital printing is a modern printing method where an image is sent directly to the printer using digital files and those from graphics software. Unlike (offset printing) this eliminates the need for a printing plate which saves money and time. It provides for faster turnaround times and printing on demand suitable for low-volume printing requests.

Advantages of Digital Printing
  • Shorter turnaround
  • File preparation less complicated
  • Eliminates the expense of plate making and setting up the presses
  • Every print is the same; more accurate counts, less waste and fewer variations, due to not having to balance ink and water during press run
  • Cheaper low volume printing and print-on-demand jobs. While the unit cost of each piece may be higher than with offset printing, when setup costs are included digital printing provides lower per unit costs for very small print runs
  • Easier and less expensive to make last minute changes to a print job or print multiple variations
  • Customized digital printing; information from a file can be changed on each piece without stopping or slowing down the press (personalized letters can be printed with a different name and address on each letter)

Differences between the two processes determine the method to be used in certain printing jobs. The important factor to consider is the price based on quantity and time. The strengths of offset printing are image resolution, reproduction speed, paper selection, and the declining cost per image as the print run lengthens [Suggestion: Insert link to offset printing definition]. It is highly recommended for projects requiring 500 pcs. or more; images with fine lines, photographs, screens or tints; and when using a thick or coated stock.
The strengths of digital printing are the following: once the image is at the printer, nothing more is required to produce the first print; the sheets can be handled, folded, cut or padded immediately after being printed; and an RGB color image can be printed. It is recommended for rush printing projects, especially if bindery operations (such as folding, cutting or padding) are required immediately; and only a few copies of the print is needed.

Here are more points to consider:
  1. Quantity. Offset printing has a front-end cost load. Short runs may have a high unit cost. But as quantities increase, the unit cost goes down with offset printing. Very short runs can be much more cost effective with digital printing; while larger quantities are likely to have a lower unit cost with offset printing.
  2. Printing medium. Offset printing still offers the most flexibility for special paper, finish, uncommon printing surface or unique size.
  3. Color. If you need only black ink or one or two ink colors, offset printing may offer a more cost-effective solution. If you need four-color printing, digital may offer advantages in lower up-front costs.
  4. Turnaround. If you need it fast, digital usually offers quicker delivery.
  5. Proofing. Digital offers accurate proofs since you see an actual sample of the printed piece. Accurate color proofing for offset printing can be expensive.
  6. Customization. Digital printing offers the most affordable way to customize marketing materials, direct mail pieces, letters, etc.

We support both Macintosh and Windows operating systems. For documents, our standard file formats are PDF, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. For single color printing or for digital output, we also accept Microsoft Word and Publisher.
Yes, our proof assures that we understand your instructions for color, design, layout and text. We provide soft proofs sent via e-mail or a link to be downloaded if the file is too big. Hard proofs may be mailed or you may come to our office for pick up.
  • Dimensional effect (raised printing)
  • Light Black HD Dry Ink reduces grain and provides smoother continuous tones for photo-quality output
  • Clear (watermarkings, protection coating, glossing, special effects)
  • Red Fluorescing (security, bar coding and watermarks)
  • RGB (gamut expansion)
